Scope of the Job:
This Key Account Manager reports to the Regional Manager. Your basic role and mission as Key Account Manager will be to modestly grow the business in the assigned region and drive year over year revenue growth. The successful candidate will have superior planning, prioritizing, and goal setting skills. One must have a strong commitment to task and an excellent ability to manage long-term relationships. This role is a combination of clinical rep, lab rep and digital equipment rep focused on key accounts.
Responsible for managing a group of assigned key accounts to build sales and to stay in touch with the customer’s needs.
Develop growth plans for key accounts and work with field reps to direct and execute plans. Establish business plans utilizing appropriate objectives, strategies and tactics to achieve sales goals within the territory.
Establish effective professional relationships with all key account management and personnel in order to stay up-to-date on developments that could positively or negatively affect the company.
Analyze sales data in an effort to monitor performance, identify opportunities for growth, effectiveness of promotional activities. Implement corrective action where necessary to improve results in the market place.
Identify and explain key business issues through group presentations, personal communications, monthly reports, formal business plans and written communications.
Attend trade shows and conventions as directed and effectively sell products to end users.
Requires a complete understanding of the products, competitive products, dentistry in general, and comparative selling techniques.
Co-travel with sales team and dealer reps to assist with building relationships, product knowledge, and implementation of business plans and strategies.
Control expenses within the designated budgets and follow all policies and procedures as they relate to the position.
We seek a sales professional with a minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience and a proven track record of success in the dental or medial products industry.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage a large geographical region, including proficient business travel and resourcefulness
Bachelor’s Degree required.
A compensation package will be designed to attract outstanding talent and will include a base salary, commission and an attractive benefits package.
