DIRECTOR OF SALES - lNTEGRATED SOLUTIONS
LOCATION: HOUSTON, TEXAS
Scope of the Job:
This is an exciting career opportunity for a Director of Sales, Integrated Solutions.
This position reports to the Vice President of Healthcare Informatics and is located in
Houston, Texas or on the East Coast. Reporting into this position will be 6 National
Account Directors. You will develop, direct, package and sell services to pharmaceutical
companies and physician groups. You will act as the liaison with pharmaceutical companies
after closure of contracts to provide a continuity of service between all internal and external
client sources. You will create, present, and implement strategies to maintain differentiation
on pricing and add value to pharmaceutical companies by marketing key services. Experience
selling data informatics into the pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable. Successful
candidates must be able to navigate the corporate environment and sell projects at 500K range.
Responsibilities Include:
You will develop, package, sell, and execute all data and marketing products to the biopharmaceutical industry.
You will oversee sales and marketing efforts of reimbursement support services provided by the AccessMed business unit.
You will demonstrate the partnership value between the corporate office and the pharmaceutical
companies to internal executives and pharmaceutical executives.
You will coordinate service implementation for manufacturers across all corporate business units
including research, managed care, reimbursement, clinical education, finance, and patient support services.
You will develop and customize reports to show past and current performance measures for services provided.
You will manage, coordinate, and implement services to pharmaceutical manufacturers.
You will oversee, directly or indirectly, the work of employees in several business units
Candidate Profile and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration with
a minor in Marketing. An MBA is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, sales management and marketing experience is
required. Demonstrated ability to drive performance through activity based reporting.
Must be available to travel by air or automobile approximately 50% of the time.
